Situated in Blantyre, Casa Mia is just a stones throw from the city centre and the major hotels,banks and shopping areas. Our doors were opened in August 2009, originally as a restaurant, having seen that there was a need for a quality establishment to meet growing demands of the city. Soon after, we decided to open our accommodation to further cater for the needs of our clients. The owners, Peter & Veronica Curtis take a very active part in the running of the business, with Veronica being very much front of house taking care of customer requirements and Peter being more behind the scenes to ensure best practice and standards in the kitchen. Both Peter and Veronice come from a food background and have spent the past 10 years in the hospitality business running Blantyre's famous "Blue Elephant" bar & restaurant, which has won several accolades, one of which was to be voted "Best Bar in Malawi" by the International Weekly Telegraph.
